You will have fun and build confidence with your horse!
Horse Agility is a fun way to improve your horsemanship skills, confidence and the overall relationship you share with your equine friend. This clinic is popular for owners of Miniature Horses, Aged and/or Non-Riding Horses and humans who want to enjoy horses from the ground only. Beginners will start with using a lead rope. If you don’t have a horse, a mini horse may be leased from Fairwinds Farm for the clinic.
Equagility is also being introduced in this clinic for those interested in learning the basics in how to ride bridleless.

What is Horse Agility?
The ultimate aim of Horse Agility is to work the horse loose over obstacles just like in Dog Agility but just like Dog Agility you cannot just turn up on the day and think it’s going to work! The training of horses to do Horse Agility is almost identical to Dog Agility, dog trainers teach the dog to lead, then to go over obstacles on the lead while using body language and verbal commands and then one day they turn him loose in a safe place and using the same signals see if they can still direct the dog over the obstacles.
What is Equagility?
It is riding without a bridle.
